I'm saving up for two JBL SRX715's and an appropriate sub system for my band. Do you find that these are good speakers to go with? I am willing to pay for quality.

Yes but that was with the SR4719's i have the SR4719X's. They drastically improved them at that point. Mine are designed for long throw, and i also use 4 VRX 12" with them. I love that the VRX's have the short/mid/long throw switch on the back of the cabinet. It makes them so versatile for any application.
