2010 Audience Favorites: We call Target for an interview to discuss their large donation to an anti-gay candidate, and do not get very far, but we play both the phone call to Target and the voicemail we received from Target spokesperson Jessica Carlson, as well as plenty of other information about anti-gay donations and opinions coming from the Target CEO, his family, and the Target executive staff.

  • @46619TAB As an open atheist, since the 1960's, I understand not "coming out" in all situations. I lost a job for not playing along with the fundy boss's nuttiness. As a woman, I had the same kinds of problems with leasing an apartment, getting a job. People used to think women were taking jobs away from men who had to support a family, as though the only choice for a woman was to get a man to take care of her. Unless everyone demands their rights, they won't get them, sorry to say.

  • @bulgeland4 No, he's professionally intrigued by anti-gay, usually religious demagogy and likes to understand and/or expose it.

  • Well maybe it was your funky ass attitude with the guy who you talked to who turned them off. Word of advice, stop acting like a snot nosed ProgressaCunt and start treating people with respect, you might get further.

  • @LanceMurtagh No, he's straight

  • @TheAlexKiernan There are lots of straight people like David :). Sometimes the world may seem cruel and small and bitter, but there are lots of people, straight or gay, who hold no grudges against others for no reason, and who will defend the rights of his fellow man or woman. Cheers :)

  • @millertas I understand the intent of your comment but I HATE the word lifestyle as much as I hate the words gimp, faggot and heeb. Lifestyle implies a choice, being disabled, born homosexual, or being a genetic Jew is NOT a choice and dosen't impede on anyone else's rights. It's a life NOT a lifestyle!

My grandparents saw the writing on the wall and left Berlin in time to avoid Hitler's hate for Jews. I LIKE your mother's aunt :)

  • @YY4Me133 AGREED. BUT....in the USA state I live in, as a Gay man I can be fired from a job because I'm honest about myself, been there done that. We can have apartment leases, mortgages and car/personal loans rejected or terminated. It's a MAJOR risk to stand up for basic rights with a hammer held over one's head BUT if we all stood up at one time, the risk is displaced by the numbers. I just can't make the others understand. THANK YOU for your support, the LGBT community needs more like you!

  • @TheAlexKiernan Isn't he a homosexual?
