This is a delicious moist quickbread that everyone will love. You and your loved ones will not believe that it is made for the PKU diet. Eat it warm out of the oven, or if there are any leftovers toast for breakfast the next morning. Go to http://www.cookforlove.org for this and many more delicious low protein recipes. • no you cant .. 1 bread is to much of fee .. or 1 banana is to much fee . so you cant mix them to gether then you wil have to much fee !!!

  • Actually, since the bread is made with a mix that is primarily starch-based and there are two bananas in the entire loaf (or 12 muffins),this banana bread it is quite low in protein or phe. It is 27 mg per slice or 1/2 gram of protein per serving. As the mother of a child with PKU, I assure you it is "PKU friendly" as it was developed specifically with my daughter in mind. I hope you enjoy! Brenda, Founder of Cook for Love
