this tune is great!! Its a good clean riff, nice tune.

I listened to the band you reccomended although I think you got the name wrong because when I typed in Eternity I got Robbie Williams and Jonas brothers songs lol. I did find a band which I believe is the one you meant called INTO ETERNITY, the song called Time Immemorial was quite cool. I have never seen anyone mix the vocal styles from growling to almost angelic, very clever. Can you do that?

@Colton527 Saying Shogun is TRIVIUM's best album--now that's something I'm more inclined to agree with you on. I'm familiar with Sylosis' album, and yes it's great.

@mrbones410 Shogun is Trivium's best album. It's in every way superior. More Thrashy, Better guitar work and song writing, more innovative vocals, and it's more mature. This is my opinion and if you don't agree with me listen to Sylosis's from the edge of the earth album. Fucking spectacular.

@Colton527 Plus, both bands use screaming as a prevalent vocal style. Screaming comes from hardcore. Metal + Hardcore = Metalcore. Both these bands have heavy metalcore influence. Because metalcore is not a metal subgenre, but a hybrid genre (somewhere in between hardcore & metal), that also lowers their credit in a pure metal best album competition. Finally, with over 30 years of metal bands to choose from & neither Trivium nor Sylosis being innovative, your statement cannot be widely accepted.

@Colton527 Shogun has only a few really solid tracks on it. Most metalheads would never even dare to consider that one of the best albums ever. Sylosis' From the Edge of the Earth is good, but they're way too new in the game to be considered.

@Colton527 If you listened to enough metal, you'd never be able to declare a "best metal album of all time." And to pick one of Trivium's, the band that would sell their souls to be Metallica and try their hardest to sound like them, is a total n00b move. How can a band that tries to sound like another band ever defeat the original band in a "best album" competition? That makes absolutely no sense.
