The New York Times recently took seven of the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour's top players and featured them in a series of photos and videos.
Kim Clijsters, Serena Williams, Elena Dementieva, Jelena Jankovic, Samantha Stosur, Victoria Azarenka and Vera Zvonareva took part in the feature.
Commenting on the photo and video shoot after her quarterfinal win in New Haven, Elena Dementieva said: "It was a fun experience. I didn't know what it was going to be like. I was working so hard for two hours, jumping with this backhand volley I never play in a match - that was quite exciting! Then you can see in slow motion all the details when I contact the ball. It's amazing."
