-Part 2-
Bob Haldeman
November 29, 1972
034-002
White House Telephone

President Richard Nixon talks with White House Chief of Staff H.R. "Bob" Haldeman about upcoming second-term appointments and about National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger's mental health. In the second part of the conversation, Haldeman relates Alexander Haig's perception of his boss Henry Kissinger's mental state, saying that he is paranoid and needs to see a doctor.

(A short section toward the end of the conversation was beeped out by NARA censors as "personal.")

  • Kissinger was and is nuts

  • it's like listening to the mob getting ready to snuff out a snitch. the nixon administration, criminals in every aspect of the definition.

  • how was he paranoid? look at the comments here.

how was he paranoid? he was being taped secretly.

  • Henry Kissinger had/has an overwhelming inferiority complex. To the point of perversion. I personally would have sent him on vacation, permenantly.

  • Jew Henry got worried a little bit that the world might view him as another Hitler

  • Heinz Kissinger, the Hand on the fork of death will be mine.
