  • i have never tried this ltheanine stuff, but the host of this episode certainly does not sound convinced of his own substance that is supposed to cure ADHD

  • Claims that it cures ADHD would never be made. Both for FDA regulations, and the fact that there are usually many factors that go into ADHD. So we don't believe L-theanine alone is going to cure it, but there is science that shows it might help ADHD and other mental and/or behavioral issues. Suntheanine is the company mentioned as having the world's only 100% pure raw material (which they've patented). Jigsaw's L-theanine contains ONLY Suntheanine so it's as good as it gets. :) Hope this helps!

  • It doesn't actually work well in tea form at all as it also contains D-Theanine which cancels out the effect of the L-Theanine. You need the pure form of L-Theanine. It's been very effective for my 5 year old with ADHD.

  • Decaffeinated green tea is not better because it contains very little l-theanine. Studies show that you need between 50-200mg for it to effective and a cup of green tea has less than 10mgs. I'd say take a l-theanine supplement and also drink green tea. Don't worry about getting too much l-theanine.

  • this stuff seriously works...buy the supplements of 100% l-theanine...much more effective than drinking pots of green tea daily (which keeps you up all night from the caffeine).

    L- theanine has been used to help people who overdosed on coccaine...It also helps with high BP and anxiety.

    Research yourself, and find out. Simply denying something based on a presenter's "sound" is very unscientific

  • I'm trying L-Theanine for the moment, and I really like it. It goes better with the mixture of energy drinks and weed

  • My son is currently take BrightSpark from Native Remedies it states to take 6 tablets per day, but I only give 2...it has helped a little...my question is..is it safe to take the l-theanine with the Brightspark?

  • Does anyone know if L-theanine contains any residual fluoride left over from the green tea? What amount in mcg?
