A traditional gospel song and a Johnson tricone resonator JM-999 in Vestapol tuning played with a brass slide.

NOBODY'S FAUL BUT MINE

Nobody's fault but mine

Nobody's fault but mine
Nobody's fault but mine
If I don't read, my soul would be lost
Nobody's fault but mine

(My) sister she taught me how to read
Sister she taught me how to read
If I don't read, my soul would be lost
Nobody's fault but mine

Nobody's fault but mine
Nobody's fault but mine
If I don't read, my soul would be lost
And nobody's fault but mine

Now I got a bible in my house
I got a bible in my house
If I don't read, my soul would be lost
Nobody's fault but mine

Sister she taught me how to read
Sister she taught me how to read
If I don't read, my soul would be lost
Nobody's fault but mine

Nobody's fault but mine
Nobody's fault but mine
If I don't read, my soul would be lost
Nobody's fault but mine

Nobody's fault but mine
Nobody's fault but mine
If I don't read, my soul would be lost
Nobody's fault but mine

  • I've always wondered if I might enjoy playing the resonator guitar. You make it look and sound like a lot of fun, Ari.

  • Hi,

    many tkz!

I also got a couple of single cone Nationals that are fantastic instruments.

    Have fun.

    Ari

  • Buon giorno! and thanks for your invitaion. This play seems to me a typical one among your nice performances, which are full of strong plays... ;-)

  • Buon giorno anche a te e grazie per aver accettato la mia amicizia!

    Un saluto da Mialno.

    Ari

  • The only version I have really heard of this song recently is by Mike Henderson (there are two Mikes and I'm referring to the white one).

Your version is wonderful!! I've been wanting to play this one myself, but did not really know how to play it.

This has given me some insight.

    Stay Blue.
