This looks like awesome VAIO I love the sharp edges! and metal man a metal laptop? that is simply amazing adds so much class to it. Really? I think the silver looks nicer the contrast to the black keys looks great.

Vaio Z laptops have amazing design and quality. Unfortunately, Sony still includes a lot of unnecessary software that add too much bloat to Windows.

this is a glass laptop...meaning it is extremely fragile

@puppyjoe69 Well, with a normal linear sliding switch you don't have an end stop at the middle position. With this triangular switch you have an end stop in every position so you don't have to flick it "just a bit" to the middle position, you can switch to any position much faster!

@puppyjoe69 with the triangular switch it helps reduce the amount of movements to get to one point to another. For example with a horizontal switch to get from left to right you would have to go through the middle, whereas with the triangle switch going from either point is one movement. As for the chic-let keyboard I find I can be more precise with it.

LOL on the triangular shaped switch. It looks cool but a functional design can still be achieved with a linear sliding switch, left, middle and right. They spent time and money on designing that but could have made the Sony cheaper without doing so.

BTW, what is the advantage of a chiclet keyboard? Why are they using it? They look uncomfortable and the keys are reduced thereby less surface area and makes it harder to type. I prefer the standard compact keyboard.
