@NetamenteBoliviano Yes it's true that Bolivia has a lot of very interesting history and the people there work hard to make a living and survive. I have visited Bolivia and I found that the people, although poor, are very nice, dignified and they work hard. Also it is a very beautiful country, I would love to visit again someday to see more. The only problem I experienced in La Paz was that I felt a bit sick from the altitude. I drank lots of mate de coca but it didn't really help me.
Bolivia is a country which has a lot of history to read upon; it has many beautiful places and in the last years has created a lot of controversy due to political issues. These women are hard working women who have children to support on their own, they do not have the opportunity to live on benefits from the government like in other countries do.
It really shows a lot of ignorance that instead of learning more about a culture, people waste their time slugging off each other’s spelling mistakes; making superficial comments which clearly show no knowledge, reality nor depth, or make comments which are so incoherent to the extreme of boredom.
This is a video portrays only a minimal part of the lives and struggles of the indigenous Bolivian Women in El Alto, La Paz. These women are forced to see this sport as an option in order to be able to support their families.
