Why can't modern beer commercials be animated like Natty Boh, Hamm's, and all the other oldies? They were gems of their art (stretching, pushing, and breaking through the 4th wall, with wonderful animation and memorable characters, great comedy, and top-notch voice acting). Hell, I'd drink a brew that tasted like piss in a can if it came with a clever ad like the two guys on the mountaintop or the patron trying to get a "Boh" from the bartender.

Techncially Gamma Productions was a Mexican studio, but I'm sure it was done in-house at Jay Ward's own studio in Hollywood anyway.

anyone know where I can find the ads with the singing clams (and crabs and other sea creatures)? They were in color, so maybe from the late 60's early 70's. Same song as heard in many other ads from that time period. Also remembering ads showing boats out on the bay, then camera would zoom in and people held up their Natty Boh. Would love to see these again.

The 1st 2nd and 3rd spots were produced by Gamma Productions (Jay Ward) the creators of Bullwinkle (featuring Daws Butler, Bill Scott and Paul Frees on voices). While the 4th one was produced by HB (Hanna Barberra) Productions (the Flintstones, etc.) and features none other than the great Mel Blanc doing the voice of the Bo Bird (notice a resemblence to the old Orioles' Bird design?)! Brings back 'doz memrees' hon!
