In part 3 of a 3-part instructional video, Lezette of the Children's Corner demonstrates how to sew and turn the fabrics pinned together in the previous video of this series (sewing the side seams in a child's lined garment). Then, she shows how to sew the second side seam. This technique is used in the Children's Corner patterns Charlotte and Mary De.

  • @moodymonkeemom I came here to get help figuring out the side seam of two vests that I am working on as well!

  • so descriptively wonderful

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial! I was stuck on how to finish the side seams on a lined vest, and I could not wrap my brain around what the instructions on the pattern were describing. It now makes perfect sense, and I can finish my niece's Halloween costume! :D

  • Thank you SO much for this!! I was stuck on the side seams of a vest and the instructions on the pattern are very insufficient. I have only made one vest before and it was 17 years ago under the direction of an instructor! Your instructions were easy to follow and I was able to complete my project. I can't thank you enough!

  • Brilliant! Thanks so much for the easy-to-follow free advice!

People charge hundreds to teach you this kind of stuff, so I really appreciate it! :)
