K-9's treads were giving me grief. So I built this new base.

I also added my new upgraded PIC Board that i designed. With my usual 18F4685 on it ;)

And I added the EMIC speech board.

next to the emic speech board, the servos are the most expensive parts. there are 4 of them in my k-9, and 6 in my wall-e . i built and designed the circuit pcb boards myself . and did the programming myself, so it's all DIY :)

the shell was made of styrene . you can get that at hobby shops that sell model railroad kits . the sheets of styrene range from $3 to $5 . plus the glue :)

Cool... i want to make a DALEK out of LEGO in 2009 but this great K9 is quite inspiring as well :)  congrats
