Dolemite's (Rudy's) Last talk with me.

2mins of my bedside chat with Rudy Ray Moore "Dolemite" on his second to last hospital emergency stay. In this section, he gives his true feelings of how the young Black comedians have no respect for those who came before them!

In the 30mins I recorded the truth, about his films deals, film money stolen by some....., his mother, family, those who claimed to be family and what he wanted done with his estate. (Hint: Jimmy Lynch, Rudy's life long partner in films, records and touring for 45 years, yes everything he did! Jimmy Lynch was kept away from Rudy the last year of his life, not allowed at key contract signings being done by and OLD SICK MAN without legal advice present? Later Mr. Lynch was cut out of Rudy's estate somehow? Not what Dolemite wanted at all according to these recordings.)
It's sad to see how one of the TRUE legends of film and comedy was taken advantage of by those he trusted and loved. One day i shall release all of these recordings for historic facts. Then, the shameful and maybe ilegal deeds done to this man will be reviled to the world. From Dolemite's mouth!

When a man is that far ahead of his time, he often isn't fully recognized during his life. Looking back, Jimi Hendrix changed the whole way the electric guitar was played. Almost no lead guitarist played the Fender Stratocaster before him, now you see Strats almost everywhere. Rudy's lack of full recognition was a sign of how great he really was - not everybody could grasp him. I think that like Hendrix, his legacy will prove how underestimated he really was.

How very heart breaking. The truth hurts. Showbiz is so scummy. He worked so hard. He was ahead of his time. He was used as a stepping stone.. I've seen it before. I hope you can help right the wrongs for him.
