@busquets28 Yeah... i'm Dutch myself and in Europe, news like this doesn't really get through that strong. It's either a small segment or one decent piece that will never be spoken about again.

I always disliked Lederer in the first place. He was always all up in there discussing poker strategy's and discussing poker in general with players that actually mattered. Leder had no heart at the poker table what-so-ever and has been a nit from the start.

@WaspSnG I used to play poker a lot on FTP, but only with fake money. But for the last 6 months I haven't played a bit, so now when I wanted to start playing again on FTP I couldn't understand why the site was down. Instead I started playing on Pokerstars. I saw on basiclly every single poker video on youtube hate comments to Lederer and couldn't understand why, untill now. I also heard that this was big news in USA when it happend, but since I'm swedish I had no idea.

@busquets28 Besides those 5, 6, 7 figure amounds, there are tons of players that had some money on there and are still waiting to get it back. It's weird that you haven't picked up on this news, unless you just enjoy watching poker video's. FTP has been closed for months now, but an investment group called Group Bernard Tapie is inches away of signing a contract to take over FTP. News is that there are some hazards with other FTP pro's though. These need to be solved first apparently...

As much as it hurts to say, the $4,900 I had in my FTP account was quite a chunk of my bankroll. Fuckin trashbags, man. How could the do this not only to the players, but shine such a bright and negative light on the game that made them rich and that they love. Completely irresponsible for big figures in our poker community. And right when the game had finally jumped from the shadows of shady back room games in the last 5-10 years. Sad, man. @Moist64 ooh, I see... wow, that's horrible :/ now I finaly understand why everybody wants him dead. I thought people hated him because of his style of play, since he plays very tight, but I always thought that it was a bit harsh to threat him just because of that. Well anyway, now I know the truth. On black friday, when online poker was made illegal in America, all the american players tried to cash out. Full tilt poker didn't have the funds to reimburse the players, so Howard Lederer, Ray bitar, and Chris Ferguson pulled a runner and apparently fled the country and are hiding with all the players funds from Full Tilt Poker. There's plenty of players with 5 6 or even 7 figures on Full Tilt, and they have no way to get their money back.
