  • 3 minutes into this clip I was losing the will to live... please get on with it Buster

  • one of the best pickers that ever lived.

  • Bravo Groovy. That guitar was a work of art.

  • It's not in my price range, that's for sure, but the quality and rarity of the wood is a major part of the price. The abalone inlays took hundreds of hours to do and there are other intricate things like the bridge pins are made of fossilized mastedon tusks that are about a bazillioin years old. Check the price on Brazilian Rosewood sometime. It is endangered and no longer legal to harvest (1972) so it is very rare and expensive. The old Martin guitars are so valuable greatly because of this.

  • Really 25g, what could possibly justify that price!!

  • Fantastic guitar player & that Keller guitar is one of the finest guitars on the planet. That's at least a $25,000 guitar and believe me it sounds that good too.

  • No. His guitars are fantastic, but this book is limited to minnesota builders. If this volume is a regional success, I may look at doing similar projects in California and Oregon. Perhaps even a national title as well. Check out the progress on the book's facebook page. If interested, just search "Meeting the Makers" on Facebook.

  • Is Mark Blanchard in your book? His guitars are outstanding.

  • I'm writing a book on the top guitar builders in Minnesota--one of them being Michael Keller. I was just down in his shop last week. He's a guy that really builds them to be played, and pursues perfection in sound and craftsmanship to a degree I doubt I can fully appreciate.

  • I played the guitar in the video. Its sick. I also got to hang out and play with Buster for a bit. He was a real nice guy.
