Please don't waste your time on the practice court working on what you're already good at! You should be seeking out your weaknesses, finding ways to bring yourself right up to the edge of your comfort level, and then spending time right at that spot over and over again.

In this series of videos you'll learn exactly what the pros do to continue improving their game and how you can copy them as well.

Ian..I want to work on taking the forehand back with both hands as a unit. With the head straight up, i want to raise my elbow on the back swing. I really want to work on swinging out to the target, ending up high.

    nice video Ian.

really reminded me what it was like working with a good coach, and constantly being pushed outside of my comfort zone, hitting shots I didn't master from spots on the court I wasn't used to hitting them at. spent most of the summer feeling hopeless about my tennis, until I realized I was now beating people who used to give me trouble pretty easily.

It's always good to have an outside set of eyes to guide you through the improvement process like that! It sounds like he should have done a better job making you aware of your improvements as you went, though :-)

I wish my "bad" strokes that I'm not good at were as nice as Davy's backhand.

I'd love to work on attacking slow serves but there's not much info on this out there

Thanks for the awesome video, In my tennis game one thing i need to focus on is my serve which dominates the rally IF it goes it in the service box, however i end up overpowering most of my shots and hitting a soft second serve.

Hi Ian, I'm having trouble making a consistent down the line backhand and also transitioning into the net with half volley or approach. I also want to work on handling high balls without leaving myself open to attack. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for your information on dril. I noticed I made likely the same mistakes in most same situations. So your comments are good advice for next step. But I'm 69-year old how shoud I practice ? Anyway try! as you instruct is my mind now.
