Didn't see this on Youtube, so I thought I would do this to Omega so he could join Shinryu. Omega now joins Shinryu in his humiliation of being beaten by a low level frog.

Atomic Ray, Blaster, Search, and Delta Attack are blocked by Reflect Ring.

Atomic Ray and Flamethrower are blocked by Resist Fire. I renew it often because it can wear off causing death.

Earthquake is blocked by Float.

Maelstrom and Encircle are blocked by Dragon Kiss.

Rainbow Wind is harmless.

Rocket Punch, Encircle, and Mustard Bomb are counterattacks that you can make Omega target himself with when he Reflects Search off.

Wave Cannon can be avoided by hiding, but doing that wouldn't be worthwhile.

  • @Milktube Dragon Kiss makes the target gain the "Dragon" and "Heavy" creature type. The dragon part just affects how much damage certain weapons will due; it is the "Heavy" part that affects Maelstrom and Encircle. Heavy is a type of status the programmers use to make enemies like bosses immune to things like instant death, Maelstrom-like moves, etc. Hope that answers your question. :)

  • omega:how can i defeat by such a weakling frog (sob) (sob)

    lol

  • I played this game a long long time ago and wondered why it's difficult to find a good place to level up.

Now after watching this video I realize that it's not necessary to level up like crazy. There are many ways to beat difficult bosses using skills.

  • PRO !!

  • How does dragon kiss work exactly? Why does it stop Maelstrom and Encircle?

  • how did he do this?

  • Meh, I don't like bosses like Omega. It takes away the thrill of chance and or in game strategy by making it all about pre-battle preparation.

Bosses like Iron Giant in FF3 give you room for in-game strategy and there's no sure fire victory with pre-battle preparation.

  • Haha, that is awesome. FFV has so much tactical potential; unlike in FFX and later there are thousand ways to defeat the hard bosses and it still is not easy.

Never thought of beating Omega this way. :P

  • Heh, I posted at '1337' views.
