Christians from all parts of the country have marked the Good Friday holiday, a day used to reflect on the passion of Christ. In Kenya, faithful thronged churches to remember this day. And the day was marked in style. Some carried the cross and held processions to depict the suffering Jesus Christ underwent. The Catholic faithful in Nairobi were led by John Cardinal Njue at the Holy Family Basilica. Speaking during the occasion, the Cardinal asked the political class to be more responsive to the problems of Kenyans.
