Where I work about twice a year big celebrations where they order Ice Sculptures. They are pre-ordered but for the most part they can't be a mold. When I was a kid artistry fo me was model planes, cars, tanks etc. Even doing that takes a lot of time. If Paul Zindel was still alive in a sense he would have been waiting his whole life to write The Pigman but I would like to have asked him how long from pen to paper. Are these Commercial Artists doing this in they're spare time?

I have no idea. I welcome a distraction from corrupt wheeling and dealings NYC. Someone just sent me a tenant's letter about all of them being mass evicted actual one block from where I filmed. The rich evil people didn't care they were mass evicting long term community members. They just wanted their mansion. Not a feel good hollywood film but a NYC heartless soulless real horror story and they think they are good people. They are proud. They even evicted so many good people. Sad stuff.

My shooting buddy did 30 plus years as a commercial artist in advertising in NYC. When he started out in the early 60's he was able to afford to live comfortably and his wife to be able to a stay at home Mom. But he definitely neeeded his Job. It's no joke when people have to have 2 jobs in NYC to survive. But it's getting that way here in San Antonio. In the 80's I paid $175 a month in rent. Rent is 6X that now.

agreed...many of us have talked of leaving and the fear NYU will find us and expand their campus there. One person predicted Manhattan will be all greedy spoiled rotten people and they will give middle class and low income a time card to allow them to enter Manhattan to serve the rich and leave. NYC is unrecognizable and looks like a bad xerox of Dubai.
