Ring around the Collar! 70's commercial

Does anyone remember when Dynamo liquid detergent was released? "The little blue jug is Dynamo ! ! " Does anyone remember Rain Barrel fabric softener? Or what about Punch laundry detergent?

Tell him "WASH YOUR NECK!" Her husband is a slob! and I bet he smelled, too!

Back in the 70's my girlfriend used to just get pissed, when my wife didn't get those disgusting ring around the collar stains out. And truthfully, I couldn't blame her. She was pissed enough that I was married. Thinking back, my wife was sure selfish, if she wasn't so stuck to the tv, watching the Dinah Shore Show, she could of done a better job on those stains. The toilet was another problem. Thank god for the Tidy Bowl Man!

i had to read an essay in college with this commercial and no one understood it so i had to look it up. It made me laugh lol

actually, this was back in the day when the wife did her ol mans shirts and packed his bag,lol..actually, she s kicking him out but the suitcase keeps yelling at her.jk anyone notice how much soap she poured on that collar? i remember this commercial...

That was back in the 70s when people seldom bathed.

These commercials really did a number on me as a kid. I'll be 43 this year and I would be absolutely mortified if i was out in public and someone told me i had ring around the collar.

Grandma always used to ask why didn't the guy who wears those shirts clean his neck better?

Just take any liquid detergent, and presoak that stain!

I will say, to those who are younger and not familiar with cotton/polyester blend dress and casual shirts...high percentages of polyester fibers made clothing in the 1970's itchy, stain prone, and odor magnets!

I think at the time, Whisk and Woolite were the only liquid detergents.
