Theremin + WiiMote + The Mouth = awesome

plaeground labs running a theremin thru native instruments 'the mouth,' this time with a wiimote in the mix to control various parameters of the synth engine on the mouth.

A theremin is a musical instrument that you play by not touching it.
The mouth is a vocal powered synthesizer. usually you would sing into the mouth. The mouth offers autone, harmony, vocoder and synth features. playing the theremin thru the mouth allows it to be tuned to any key. in this example the wiimote is not making any sound, it's used as a tilt and roll sensor that control 2 paramenters on the mouth,

This is rad. Very rad. Have you been diggin the mouth? I'm loving it but still figuring it out. I'm using it pretty much only to modulate and harmonize with the voice, not so much on drums or other audio....

I could see how you could get pretty in depth with this kind of technique if you wanted too. Definitely makes the theremin instantly more melodic and playable. A nice little performance.

Anyway I think this is awesome.
