This sounds interesting. There are alots of organ transcriptions of this work.

OK, thanks for the info.
By the way, for those who liked this transcription, there is a stunning version of it here: watch?v=Ws9_F-FXqgI

yes, it's true that there are more than one transcriptions... but I remember that Mr Blanc played the transcription by Demessieux.

Jeanne Demessieux is not the only person to have done an organ transcription of this work. I'm aware of at least three others (Nicholas Kynaston, Louis Robilliard, and Lionel Rogg). Have you spotted specific indices in Blanc's playing that indicate it to be the Demessieux version rather than one of the other three?

i think that this is Jeanne Demessieux transcription

Aurel machin truc,
(translation : Aurel is a douchebag, B.Blanc rocks)
Obviously, this last comment says more about aurel132 than it says about F. Blanc...

aurel132's comment obviously sucks. Frédéric Blanc is one hell of a fine organist (and improviser!).
In this video, he's playing Liszt's "Funérailles". This is originally a piano piece — I wonder who made this transcription.
