I've seen him live a few times at really small venues and he is the real deal. I always left thinking he'd make it big one day and it appears that day has come.

Reminds me sometimes of the passion in stuff by Procul Harum, like on "A Salty Dog." Really nice! Not sure he needed X factor, just time.
