This is a great performance by Aimee. I saw her perform up close in 1997 at a sell-out in a small venue, Berbati's Pan in Portland Oregon, my home town. I called into NPR's Talk of the Nation to commend her on that performance. She was featured on TOTN for the 40th Anniversary as an 8 year old remembering the release of The Beatles Sargent Peppers album release in 1967. Interviews archived to listen at NPR. I believe she has the quality of the early Joni Mitchell but also her own special style.

This song is so beautiful and CUT-THROAT HONEST.....all of us ..at some point in our lives',, know, we have to 'give in'.. once in a while, and can't control 'everything' in our 'lives'...I can be a stubborn pain in the ass....but this song teaches me.... to just let go.....'sometimes'....and go with the flow.. I adore Aimee's songwriting.. it hits you straight in the heart.
