Man the things I do for love. Here I am on a train headed into the middle of Manhattan just to see Demi, and watch her lie to me. I mean, I SAW her kissing Nick. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out my iPod. Hey, if she ended up dating Nick, I could always get a cat, right? I still had a pretty long way to go before getting to Demis school. I closed my eyes and drowned in the music...

Nicks P.O.V
Okay so up until this point in the conversation things had been going pretty great. Fallon forgave me, we flirted alittle, well actually a lot. Okay so I do like her, and dont say I told you so because cant a guy make a mistake? I dont know why I didnt just ask her out already. Was this stupid image of mine so important? Okay Nick...just...do it. Hey Fallon, I know this is kinda sudden but-

Fallon: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Nick: *confused face* I didnt even ask you yet...
*Fallon runs past Nick and hugs a girl that looked kind of familiar*
Fallon; EMMA!!!!!!!!!!!
*The two girls are in a hug and jump around in circles*
Nick: *thinking- Wow, shes really, really, really, pretty* [kinda starring into space]
Fallon: HELLO?
Nick: Huh- wait what?
Fallon: Ive been trying to get your attention for like five minutes. Do you remember Emma from Junior High school? And her brother Max? The ones that moved to England? There back now, isnt that great?
Nick: [starring at Emma] Yea...great.
*Fallon is kinda hurt because she sees Nick is crushing on Emma*
Emma; [giggles] Oh and Fallon, Max said he wanted to talk to you about something and hell met you in the secret place? [clearly doesnt know what he means by that]
Nick: Wait, what? Whos Max?
Fallon: What do you care, it seems you and Emma have some catching up to do. *she says it kinda smugly to make Nick mad* Where is Max now I just cant wait to see him?!
Emma: Third floor room 321.
Nick: *thinking* Third floor? Thats where the Juniors are [a/n Nick Fallon and Emma are all freshmen and its December so kinda mid-year]
Fallon: Okay I have time before class Ill go see him now, I cant WAIT to see him again *looks at Nick starts to walk away*

Fallons P.O.V
Stupid Jerk. Why does Nick keep doing that to me? Every time I think were getting somewhere he does something stupid. I dont actually like like Max, but if he stills likes me...then we could be onto something...

Nick: *chasing her* Fallon wait! The third floor is for the Juniors....
Fallon: *still speed walking* Yea and your point?
Nick: Youre a freshman.
Fallon: So I cant go to the third floor?
*about to walk through the stairs but Nick stops the door with his foot*
Nick: Fallon whos this Max guy and why are you going to the third floor to see him?
Fallon: Because Nick, I like him. And usually when people like each other they make an effort to be nice to each other and talk to each other. I know thats not how YOU do it, but thats what I am going to do. I believe you have some catching up to do with Emma. *point back to a smiling Emma, who is completely clueless about what is going on*
Nick: *takes away his foot*
Fallon: Thank you *really big in-sincere smile as she walks up the stairs*
