@Mattyb88ful there is an excellent documentary on this amazing world religion available online. Its called Islam: Empire of Faith. I highly reccommend you watch it. It is very eye openning and might allow you to get to know more about this ancient and profound religion. I used to feel very similar to the way you do but i have found out more about islam and i have come to respect it alot more. I am not Muslim but i respect muslims and i admire alot in regards to their culture and their religion.

its intolerant of you to call Islam bullshit. We owe alot to Islam. They were writing poetry in books, constructing amazing mosques, and translating roman scripts into arabic when europe was making fire in the dark ages and the United States was but a dream in the hearts of an oppressed british colony. Islam changed the world and it has promoted peace and tolerance for an international community. It is somewhat repressive but it is also accepting of other religions.U should show respect.

@sarmido thats a good point. Anyways, Saladin allowed Jews to leave Jerusalem after he reclaimed it from the crusaders. Muslims have been very tolerant to Jews and Christians in the past and in the present. Its only racidal isalmists who feel that "jihad" means open war with the U.S. Many muslims just want peace. I think your right; she does seem like she is trying to stir Muslim-phobia which can be harmful to the quality of life of many muslims in the u.s who already are being harassed.
