I've had a stack of t-shirts and a closet full of upholstery foam just waiting for a large-scale project like this to come along. Tiffany Threadgould and I show you how to make a comfy beanbag-style pillow chair from old t-shirts in this week's CRAFT Video! http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2010/03/pillow_chair_from_t-shirts_and.html

  • I'm having trouble finding filling for my beanbag, i've made the whole thing, but I can't find any couch cushions :( I tried finding recycled packing peanuts but no one will donate them, and they cost alot, what should i do? :(

  • @rayefirerobin If you know of a place that does custom upholstery, ask for their scrap foam!

  • lol. blue asu shirt

  • @pulgalopz blue ASU Herberger College student council shirt, no less! =]

  • do you think packing peanuts would be to hard to use?

  • @jackcamryn They should work just fine, go for it!

  • whats the measurement for the rectangular half?

  • does you guys have like a 'how to' instructions that i can print out or write down?

  • are bigger or smaller cubes bettter??

  • how large is the pillow chair in the end? radius?

  • u could make liner out of fuzed plastic bags and a zipper...

  • If you rather would make 12 panels you should shange the angle from 60 degrees to 30 degrees because a circle always is 360 degrees and 60 times 6 is 360 and 30 times 12 is 360

  • Thanks for the idea.. <3
