Briton kidnapped another killed-911

A British tourist has been murdered and his wife kidnapped after attackers broke into a beach resort near Lamu close to the border with Somalia. The married couple was staying at the luxury Kiwayu safari village, north of Lamu island, when armed men attacked. Police commissioner Mathew Iteere says investigations are going on and has dismissed links to terror.

@boggiebenda  Absolute rubbish , when I was there I witnessed a robbery on a poor tourist and NO ONE helped him.The police laughed. Also they were making racist remarks when he appealed for help calling him a "Muzungu" Further when the captured the theif instead of handing him over to the police they beat him within a inch of his life then put tyres around him and burnt him to death ! HORRIFIC. The place is a jungle with little black people running around finding anything to steal.

kenya is a wonderful country , yes it has security problems just like any other country , but in general it is safe . thousands of visitors cant be wrong, i have many kenyan friends from all walks of life and they are very good people
