COARSE SCALE O GAUGE. DARSTAED 2-6-2T ARRIVES!

This is the pre production Darstaed 2-6-2T demonstrating that despite its size it has remarkable performance. Here; despite wearing the GWR livery it is coupled to no less than 9 LNER Teak coaches. The layout has a very slight gradient; otherwise it could have taken two more. The loco will shortly be available through all Darstaed retailers, but this particular model has kindly been made available by Colin Toten of www.raylo.co.uk

Track has been down for well over a year now and through one of the harshest summers followed by hottest temparatures we've seen in many years. Track is nichol siver so will not rust, but does tarnish swiftly. Essential requirement is a Gaugemaster track rubber - works a treat. When you lay it for the first time, protect all track ends & fishplates with grease & waxoyl and you should have very few problems.
