@rLOVEutionFor2012 it's like insurance...you pay it all your life, a bit at a time and every citizen, so that if you need a 1000000$ operation you can use that money and a bit of others...do you have 1000000$? nope...it's like playing with probabilities: how many 1000000$ operations will people need? at least you're covered in case you need one but can't afford it? ya dig? ahaha
@TempleOfSin Are you suggesting that the money you pay into your so-called Free Healthcare system equivalent to how you get out of it?
If that were truly the case, why does the government not just allow for you to keep your money and spend it when you actually need healthcare treatment or purchase insurance?
"We do not receive medical care 'off the hand of the government;. We support the system. Our taxes reflect this, just as the contents of your comment reflect your ignorance."1
It is our money. It is tax dollars. We pay into a system that ensures all people in our country receive appropriate medical coverage, and most of us are proud to support it. It is not without its faults, but it does a lot of good.
We do received medical care 'off the hand of the government;. We support the system. Our taxes reflect this, just as the contents of your comment reflect your ignorance.

'off the hand of the government'?
