yeah so far it sold far more copies that any rpg from japan this generation, a generation that saw a huge decline in the market from rpgs from Japan !

With all due respect, alot of people -including the7thlevl- were seriously butthurt with FF XIII.
Yes, the game lacked in the rpg department only because the whole thing was very action oriented.
Yes, the game doesn't give you choices only because it is exclusively story driven and envelopes completely around the characters.

well some of these things you said is true but some of it is Over board. the storyline is really good and interesting but game-play is *sadly* hard and irritating since there's about 3 boss battles every chapter, it really pissed me off. at one time I was going to trade this game in but I really didn't want to due to the storyline. so I went on walkthroughs and other things that will help me out and well? I ended finishing this game in about 1 month and a half XP

I agree with your first statement in this video... And this was my biggest gaming disappointment of my life. Story and characters were good but the battle system and gameplay was horrible.
