@EFIintegration You are totally right. There is absolutely nothing new or innovative about making something like this. Its just the little boy/girl in some of us that wants to make one for themselves. Unfortunately it isn't going to change the world. Hopefully there are some little boys and girls out there who start this simple and then come up with new innovations in time.

@turtlemann14 you can't use a smooth timing belt. It has a toothed timing belt. Can use a timing belt, gears or a chain to maintain a consistent 2:1 ratio between the crankshaft and camshaft. A timing belt is the simplest implementation.

@cffellows. As you suggest the throttle is just a simple barrel valve. Not included in the original design. It took 20 minutes to make and adds a nice degree of control.
