Your talking about the 14th amendment. The 13th is called :The "title of nobility" was prohibited in both Article VI of the Articles of Confederation (1777) and in Article I, Sec. 9 of the Constitution of the United States (1788). Although already prohibited by the Constitution, an additional "title of nobility" amendment was proposed in 1789, again in 1810 and was finally ratified in 1819 (The 13th Amendment to the constitution).

This prohibits lawyers from obtaining US citizenship!
