@violinoamore Besides, if you are so "disgusted" with all this, then why are you even HERE?? You don't find me or others here on rap or metal, or similar places, tearing down those efforts (if "effort" is even the right word). Partly because we can't stand to listen to them, but that's besides the point.

Anyway, I don't mean to argue with you, I'm just passionate about ABBA music because I grew up with it, and any/all "quality" remakes give it new life and exposure; naturally I would enjoy that.

@violinoamore Let me guess.. You enjoy any monkey jumping up and down saying "yo yo yo" or a scraggly haired, screeching, guitar abusing heavy metal freak, am I right? If these types of things are your idea of "sweet", then I could see how this type of tranquility goes right above your head! Or, perhaps you're younger than 25 and just do not connect with the idea of "well-written" music. I'm not condescending to you, only saying you represent an extreme minority, especially on this page.....

@jahaantarbiat This is just your own personal opinion, nothing more. There is nothing "universal" , only subjective (including "beauty"). And in this case, I personally find it very artificial and soul-less sounding, like plastic flower (even comparing to the original). Just a commercial attempt to collect money ... What has Gregorian chant to do with this ? It is like putting ice cream on pizza. And Honey Honey in the same rendering sounds simply disgusting to me ... Cannot help ...

This exact same choir (along with Amelia Brightman who comes in at 1:49) performs a version of this song that is nearly identical to this one.. Only in that version the flutes are replaced by piano. The good thing about THAT version is that it "naturally" ends around 3:02, instead of the stupid modulation that comes in at 3:18 in this version. However, as much as I love the piano, I think this one's more beautiful. Does anyone know of a copy of this version that ends around 3:02 like the other?

@violinoamore No matter how you allow for different tastes or opinions, there are certain universal beauties that no-one can deny.. A beautiful woman, tall and well-shaped, thick hair, huge eyes, etc.. who can deny that kind of beauty? (Even a gay man would not deny it, only he'd be "jealous" instead of attracted to her :D )!! I just don't see how any human being who enjoys peace and tranquility can not be haunted by the beauty of this male choir sound performing such a wonderful song.
