JustinGracie's Westboro Baptist Church Experience: Part 1

This was a somewhat unplanned phone call to the Westboro Baptist Church. I called simply to talk to them, to try and understand their interpretation of the Bible. Obviously, they weren't okay with that idea, told me that God hates my state, probably meant to include me, then proceeded to call me a liar and hang up on me.

The WBC is a cult. They throw their beliefs in your face, but refuse to let you discuss or debate. Before I could ask one single real question, they ran.

Comparing them to terrorists is of course a bit of an exaggeration, but hopefully you can see what I mean.

And of course, I know that they have done far worse than judge me, but it is appalling to me to see someone, anyone, judge someone with no knowledge of the person. It is pathetic.


Expect more after their March 30, 2009 picketing at Towson High for their GSA.

Mr. Gracie, do not fool yourself. It is NOT an exaggeration when they are referred to as terrorists. This is a HATE GROUP who promotes and encourages HATRED. You only have to look into the eyes of any of the mothers who read the WBC's signs upon exiting the church where their son's funeral has just been held. It is an unmistakable look of TERROR in their eyes. A burning cross is a burning cross no matter how you look at it. You are young. Continue to fight against causes like this!
