I went to Linton Hall from 63-65, 3rd & 4th grade. I visited once in the late 70's, but I'm looking back over 42 years. It's now just "Linton Hall School", and Yes, Bill is still there! Pictures from my visit are at: http://www.WincingDevil.com/LintonHall

  • we don't call it windbreak

    its called the wall.

  • Way back (WAAAAY back) in the early 60's it was simply "the windbreak" The video is shot from the center of what used to be the "Arsenal" where the (non-firing) rifles were stored

  • I graduated in 1958. What class were you in? Name is John Petroff. Did you know Joe Miseli, J.R. Smith, Chechini?

  • I went for 3rd & 4th Grade from Fall 63 to Spring 65, went to summer camp Summer 65.

  • Did you know that Linton Hall is listed in Facebook? It has lots of old pictures and comments.

  • mr.bill died im in mr.sco is leaving

  • Was there for one nightmare year; 4th grade in 1960. Sister Gertrude, a cold, black-eyed nun with a fondness for her paddle was priciple. I remember two names, a quiet kid named Wynkoop in my grade who was mercilessly taunted and an officer named Staunton (Stanton?) in 8th grade who was the epitome of grace and kindness to we powerless underclassmen. Learned discipline but at a high emotional cost. The nuns watching us in the showers, the fondness for corporal punishment An unhappy place.

I can be contacted @ mhutson28@yahoo.com or on Facebook under Jesse Hutson. Thanks. Oh, Sister Ethel Rita was in charge then. And I remember Bill and his daughter that went to school in the same grade I think. Awesome to see it again. PS, I hated it LOL.!! Was in "drum and bugle " core
