New BMW 535i F10 MY 2010 0-200 km/h acceleration

Short acceleration test in new BMW 535i Steptronic. Gearbox in M mode, Fahrdynamik Control in SPORT mode. Poor shifting, because of one-hand driving and recording (I forgot to switch Manual to DS mode before recording). Not full throttle, because of traffic :) Greetings from Poland

I like it a lot, especially between 5-7k rpm's :) You can simply feel (and hear :D) 306 HP power...

Consumption depends on driving style :D Normal driving: -urban: 13-14 liters /100 km -non urban: 8-9 liters /100 km -combined: 11 liters/100 km Fast and hard driving: -urban: 16-17 liters/100 km -non urban: 11-12 liters/100 km -combined: 13-14 liters/100 km At high speeds: - 200 km/h - c.a. 14 liters/100 km (8th gear) - 240 km/h - c.a. 20 liters /100 km (8th gear) - 259 km/h (v-max I've ever reached) - c.a. 30 liters/100 km (8th gear) I hope it was helpful :) Greetings:)

Love it. We were supposed to get the F10 530d but it never happened. A7 3.0tdi quattro s-tronic at the end of the month instead. But i do love the ZF 8 speed transmission in the F10, so quick even tough its not a DSG.

@tomsailas A7 is great car too but I still prefer F10 :) I also do love ZF 8 speed automatic, it's just perfect :) I drove few cars equipped with it and in all of them this transmission was astonishing, so quick and smooth. It's fast almost like DSG...

Did you all guys know, that this engine, N55 is single turbo? it sounds way better than the old N54 twin turbo.

Slower than 535d / 640d with equivalent diesel engine but half the consumption : 640d 0-200 ca. 20 sec. , your 535i about 25 sec.

@c180kuser wow, 11 liter? das ist aber ganzschön heftig. da verbraucht ja mein 6,1l V8 Hemi nur 1 liter mehr :D
