FLORENCE CASSEZ EVENT, GALWAY, IRELAND

On Saturday, August 6th, 2011, an information event was staged at Galway City Museum, Galway, Ireland, in support of Florence Cassez, imprisoned in Mexico. Organised at the Galway end by Fred Johnston, and from Montréal, Canada, by David Bertet and Fred Ponthieux, it featured a number of poets reading work associated with injustice or imprisonment, and the violinist, Yuki Nishioka. The documentary, 'Florence Cassez - Political hostage in Mexico,' by Michel Fenollar, was also shown. Our thanks to Breandán Ó hEaghra and the staff of Galway City Museum, Galway, Ireland
