Hey,
I think it's nice John is uploading videos of him playing quakelive cus it brings in some interest in for quakelive, but jesus can he upload some good clips? Also I would like to see John do more for his quake community. I dont know why hes never sponsored anything quake really. I mean I dont dislike the guy, I get on with him quite well at events, but I get so angry, because hes in a posistion where he can help the competitive community. but instead he just acts as a gaming figure that companies use to make money off. gj... zzzzzz

Pro gamers usually play with 3 fps because they don't need more. The gameplay in the video above has an enhanced fps rate so newbs understand what's going on.

Fatal1ty has more than enough money and contacts to be able to support quake live and gather more interest in it but his only contribution is playing a bit of CA.
2GD actually works to gather sponsors and even put up his own money to sponsor tournaments unlike fatal1ty. Dreamhack winter 2011 wouldn't even have a duel tournament if 2GD didn't step in and got sponsors for the tournament.

No need to be an arse about it, Jay. As an ex-pro yourself, you know that playing below the standard you know you're capable of is just frustrating. For a player like Fatal1ty, that means some serious playtime just to take a shot you'd make "90% of the time" up to "95% of the time". Since I doubt he has the motivation to hardcore Quake Live then I can understand him avoiding name players who do. It's just a few new vids for his old fans. No agenda. A casual kick about.
