The salad is delicious!! As I live in a small village, I couldn't get any water cress so I took lamb's lettuce instead. Even my children (aged 2, 8 & 10) loved it!

A cannibal entered the meat market to buy something for dinner. He inspected the meat case and noticed the market specialized in brain. A carpenter's brain sold for $1.50. A plumber's brain sold for $2.25. He noticed that a politician's brain sold for $375.00. With not a little curiosity he asked the owner why the huge difference in price between the similar meats.

The owner responded with a deadpan look on his face, "Do you realize how many politicians it takes to get a pound of brains?"
