I truly believe that the root of El's problems with drugs can be traced back to the death of his brother, Bobby, whom he had been very close with...I believe that Bobby's death affected El so much that turned to drugs to deal with it, in addition to turning to drugs to dealing with all the additional pressures that success brought...Ultimately, El's fame, success and money made it that much easier for him to access drugs and find other ways to escape the emotional pain of losing Bobby...Sad.

Yes, I'm tired of hearing this crap everywhere the man goes someone has to comment and say he's bringing light skinned men back or him being the king of light skinned brothers. Can the Men just sing and be FINE without someone saying something about his complexion.
A beautiful Men comes in many varieties. Some like to say he's bringing LS men back BUT Talented, attractive men are never out of style.
I think some folks say it out of there own insecurities

@DEbargelover123: You are so right! Just about every interview since the BET awards has to mention his being light skinned! That mess is getting real old real quick! As if he doesn't know he's light skinned! I know that must get on his damn nerves cuz it get's on mine and i'm not even lightskinned, lol!
