This is an old Irish Custom, where the strawboys can gate-crash weddings and entertain the guests by performing traditional Irish music and dance.. Sligo's Strawboy drummers put a twist on this custom by playing lively, infectious modern beats on drums while wearing traditional Irish Straw Head-dresses, they play lively samba and african rhythms as well as funky hip hop and rock beats!
