@Cheesesteakfreak Following that logic, Soros is at the very least a very special gambler, since the average gambler loses more often than not. I would say that rather than being merely a gambler, he's proved to possess an uncanny sense for market shifts, beyond traditional investment strategies.

Haha this is interesting. Yet Universities DO teach speculating - it's all about financial engineering, math, and computer science. Look at hedge fund industry. Yet, investment or speculating or trading or swinging - what make them different with buying and selling? - By the way both Buffett and Soros are great and brilliant.
