I am going to visit London in September for the first time and until today I was looking forward to have a look at her. I was shocked when I read about the fire. It's a pity! But fortunately there is hope for a reconstruction.

Terrible to see her on fire. I hope she is restored to her fromer glory once again. Good to hear half the timbers were away, and all the artifacts.

We just passed the ship 8 years ago while visiting London. Now I'm very sorry we did not take a closer look. What a loss. However, to put it all into perspective, it is only a physical object, and worth less than any one of the thousands of lives the U.S. and U.K. have squandered in Iraq...

oh well looks like it's back to the drawing board. Such a shame to here about the fire this morning. Now waiting for the tabloid newspapers to start blaming a spanish or french workman for the fire. Am so pleased i did get to visit her before this disaster. Glad no one got hurt.
