This is a complete list of the organ tracks played in the "Fairground Organ" loop played by Merry-Go-Rounds and Carousels in Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2.

These tracks were originally recorded in 1976 by the C.J. Mead Organisation, from a Voigt Model 35 69-Keyless Street/Band Organ at Bressingham Steam Museum, Norfolk. Called the Bressingham Voigt, it remained there for many years, but was eventually sold and now performs in the Netherlands. The record was owned by Chris Sawyer's father, and it's tracks were used in both RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 & 2. From what I understand, all of these songs are original arrangements from the Ruth Fair Organ Company.

Each of these eleven videos contain one of the songs, are numbered in the order they appeared in in-game lists and on the original LP, with the name of the song, as well as it's original writer.

#1: Children of the Regiment (Die Regimentskinder Marsch) [Julius Fucik]
#2: Heken's Serenade [John Heyken]
#3: In Continental Mood [Unknown]
#4: Wedding Journey [Traditional]
#5: Tales from the Vienna Woods [Johann Strauss]
#6: Slavonic Dance [Traditional]
#7: Das Alpenhorn [Traditional]
#8: The Blond Sailor [Traditional]
#9: Poet & Peasant Overture [Franz van Suppe]
#10: Waltz Medley [Johann Strauss]
#11: Bella Bella Bimba [Traditional]

  • Some of this is from the 1911 Looff Carousel in Santa Cruz!

  • Considering the popularity of Strauss Waltzes, it's very likely that the organ there has arrangements of some of these songs.

  • This is the only song that I'm aware of that is at the Boardwalk so far...

  • This is a medley, though. It contains more than a few of Strauss' more famous waltzes. It's more likely that you heard an arrangement of one of the songs that was featured in this medley.

  • ...... Not really understanding you...

  • This one song is a medley of many different waltzes by Johann Strauss. They are very famous in their own rights.

The versions of the individual songs in this medley are only a few seconds long and are only the most recognisable bits from the waltzes.

The organ at the Looff Carousel probably has arrangements of some of these waltzes, given their fame.
