Michi Schwery, a family man and professional salesman from Zurich, has a very dangerous hobby: base jumping. The sport has claimed many victims, but Michi's meticulous approach seems to have kept him safe. His motto is, "prepare well and if it doesn't feel right, don't do it". (swissinfo, Julie Hunt)

base jumping is not safe, it is very dangerous. (almost) every base jumper knows this. we choose to do it anyways. but we try to minimize the risk as much as possible by using good material, having good training and preparation, staying fit (physicaly and mentaly) etc. But we still have an average of 14 fatalities per year. this is a lot putting it in relation to the nuber of active jumpers. this is the high price we pay for our freedom...

    best regards from zurich

  • Swiss men like to fly I think.

  • 0:48 , erection?

  • all of the explanation why it is safe sound very deterministic. sometimes circumstances are stochastic. then the basejumper dies .... young.

  • If the guy didnt just complete a base jump, I would call him a nerd
