This song, and it's title. It reminds me of when I left what was supposed to be a home, at 17.

I was alone, but never lonely. It didn't take long to realize I was always alone, despite having a mother and step father.

I remain that way. And I'm happy now, I think. You're happy if you choose to be, no matter what has happened to you, no matter what people have done to you, you have control. If you really want to be happy, then you are happy.
