MSNBC's Rachel Maddow has taken sides in the debate over Healthcare Reform. She slams Republicans for having an inaccurate 'set of facts', but as evidence she uses the opinions of viewers of MSNBC and CNN. This administration is hijacking Liberty and the Constitution with the laws they are jamming down our throats, so check out www.theplainfacts.com to see the details.

  • You need to read more closely. I said that Rachel was correct in saying that ILLEGAL immigrants were not covered. I merely pointed out that the law eliminates the 5-year waiting period for LEGAL to receive entitlements and if Obama gets Amnesty every single one of them will be jammed into Medicaid.

    2. I am pointing to the fact that Rachel says NO funding .with taxpayer dollars and that is a false statement.

    3. The law says the Medicare Advisory Board can eliminate certain services.

  • 1) Maddow was right that illegal immigrants will not receive coverage.

    2) The bill explicitly prohibited federal money from funding abortion except in cases that were already covered by Medicaid (rape or when the health of the mother is at risk). This public funding existed before the reform.

    3) Seniors' new benefits include: free preventative care, prescription drug rebate, "donut filling," early retiree coverage & long-term care insurance program. There was never a chance of "stopping" care.

  • 3) The bill specifically stated that the advisory board could not modify eligibility, restrict benefits or ration health care for the elderly and that every decision made by the board could be repealed by Congress. This was in the bill since its emergence.

  • 1) I saw you said she was correct, but pointing out anything about legal immigrants is completely irrelevant to the poll she was discussing.

    2) Maddow and the poll said people wrongly believe "it" (health care reform) secures taxpayer funded abortions. Public funding is not the product of the reform, but of Medicaid. The bill did not "reform" public funding with regard to abortion. It remains the same. Since both Maddow and the poll explicitly refer to the bill, their statements are not false.

  • Go Rachel!!!!!!

  • keep it up..please! She is the epitome of what wrong with this country.
