A little trip in my Leitra Velomobile.
To show the speed, the camera is pointed down towards the Garmin Edge 705
I am often asked how fast can a velomobil run. My answer is as fast as you can, and the laws of physics provides. I ran 50 km / h in my Leitra on a straight road, it was the longest 2 minutes of my life :-). My Leitra best suited to keep a good pace (25-35km / h) over longer distances. Of course, it is slower uphill because of the weight
My Leitra is a touring model, it is not so fast like a Waw or other velomobile that is lower. On straight roads, I can run max 40-45 km / h when I simply do not have enough gears. Down the large hill, it can reach 100 km / h, but it is not safe. So I will only run 60-70km / h downhill, where I think it's comfortable and I can manage to brake for danger.
This video shows a section of straight road 0-40 km / h, a sequence of descent 25-60 km / h, a section with driving in the dark / night 20-36 km / h.

@lassehoei: Giver dig ret med hensyn til prisen. Desværre bliver de ikke masseproduceret, så prisen kunne blive lavere. Det har været specielt lækkert at sidde i tørvejr i denne våde sommer i år.
